First Deputy

First Deputy Chairman of the
Majlisi Namoyandagon of the
Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan

Mr. Vatanzoda Mahmadali Mahmadullo was born on February 1, 1962 in Farkhor district. In 1984 he graduated from the Law Faculty of the State University of Tajikistan.

He has held a number of positions, including:  a Notary of the State Notary Office of Farkhor district, a Member of the Regional Court of Kulob region, a Member of the Regional Court of Khatlon region, a Deputy Chairman of the Court of Khatlon region, a Chairman of Dushanbe court, the First Deputy Chairman  and a Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, a Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan of the third, fourth, fifth and sixth convocations, a Chairman of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on Legislation and Human Rights (2010-2016) and at the same time a Chairman of the Commission of Legal Issues of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, an Adviser to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Legal Issues (2010-2016), a Security Council Secretary of the Republic of Tajikistan (as of March 4 till March 6, 2020).

Awards: Diploma of the Republic of Tajikistan, an “Exemplary Worker of Tajikistan”, “20th anniversary of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan” jubilee medal, “For Strengthening of the Commonwealth” of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly medal and “20th anniversary of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly” jubilee medal.

Mr. Vatanzoda is the first class Justice Counselor of State, a Counselor of State of Government Service, a Top Class Referee.

He is married.
